Question 5 of 12

The peasants often worked for seasonal jobs in the fields for which no particular technical knowledge was required. In the Modenese dialect those peasants were called “camaránt” because of their poor salaries. Indeed, the only thing they could afford was a renting room.

Look inside the Museum! Who is a “camaránt”?

In the Museum the "càmarant" is Aldo, the young boy with the sickle.
